Job Description
Requirements:
Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience
Infrastructure/Construction industry preferred
Bachelor of Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Post Diploma in Industrial safety, IRCA
approved ISO 14001 and 45001 lead assessor/auditor
Preferred: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH),
NEBOSH -International Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health
Skill Set
Functional Knowledge:
Knowledge of highway safety management is meritorious.
Knowledge of IRC: SP:44--Highway Safety Code, IRC:119-2015-Traffic Safety Barriers,
IRC: SP-88-2019 -Road Safety Audit, crash Investigation, etc.
Expertise in management systems (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and reporting.
Excellent knowledge of Safety, Health and Environment regulatory requirements
Monitoring of SHE objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and tracking of the
same to achieve
Feedback on lessons learned and best practices/improvements
Coordinates SHE inspection and audit programs. Govern SHE trainings using various
engagement, involvement and retention techniques.
Inspect sites and assets operations to ensure compliance with Company safety, health
and environment standards.
Carry out ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) due diligence for infrastructure
assets.
Monitor Environmental indicators as per various ESG frameworks e.g. RI G4 standards,
TCFD, DJSI etc,
Contributes to effective risk management of SHE related issues by providing specialist
knowledge and advice on key decisions.
Drives behavioural change by determining company SHE requirements
Leads and implements performance improvement programs and practices aligned with
SHE framework to ensure an exemplary SHE culture.
Ensures Safety, Health and Environment incidents timely reporting, investigations using
best in class techniques, preventive and corrective actions.
Able to use various SHE software-based applications for actions tracking, incident
reporting, training, ESG, sustainability,
Management of Changes, Legal compliance tracking, HRMS, ERP etc.
Engages external (e.g. customers, suppliers and other stakeholders) and internal
stakeholders in order to report on, raise awareness and gain commitment on SHE
performance and obtain objective feedback.
